Insurance Check Terms of Use

“Insurance Check” shall mean the insurance eligibility benefits search engine Powered by PracticePal. If you subscribe to a license for Insurance Check, you agree to the following additional terms and conditions, which terms and conditions are supplementary to the terms of the agreement between you (and any organization you represent) and MH Sub I, LLC, an affiliate of WebMD, LLC (“WebMD”). 

It is expressly acknowledged and agreed that your right and license relating to using Insurance Check is limited to looking up or searching for a patient’s insurance benefits and eligibility information using your existing credentials for an insurance carrier’s website.  WebMD specifically disclaims any liability in the event an insurance carrier terminates your access to their verification website. Each Insurance Check license for which you subscribe is subject to the following usage limitations: (1) 300 searches per day (a search is a lookup of a given patient’s insurance information) (“Insurance Search”); (2) 6,000 Insurance Searches per month; (3) five concurrent staff member accounts; and (4) one physical office address. In the event you exceed your per license usage limitations, you will be required to purchase additional license(s) for such overage. 

Because Insurance Check is dependent on Insurance Check’s continued access to, and on the functionality, accuracy, and availability of, an insurance carrier’s website, WebMD makes no warranty as to the speed, availability, or accuracy of Insurance Check. WEBMD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO INSURANCE CHECK, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
